How embarrassing is it that I last posted that I finally took the time to make an editorial calendar and yet last week I didn't make time to post to my blog? Not that embarrassing? Phew okay good.
In my defense, I totally had a project in the works but everything always takes three times as long to accomplish than I think it will. (But the good news is that post will be up this week!) And in my defense, I totally wasn't slacking, I was just focusing my time solely on my etsy shop.
If you guys have read my magpie post or my editorial calendar post, you know that I'm trying really hard to get my life organized. In the past, I've been trying to tackle everything at once. Yeah that just didn't seem to be working for some reason so I've been trying to break things down in order to get back to the basics, getting my big picture set up for success before I turn my attention to the smaller details.
First step was to deep clean my entire house (which feels so amazing by the way). And the second step was to get my etsy shop all re-photographed and looking cohesive and beautiful. Well my friends, that's what I was up to pretty much all last week. Standing in my office, in front of my new white backdrop (which worked pretty dang good I must say) and in front of my camera on a tripod, using a wireless remote to take (hundreds of) pictures of me showing off all my different knit and crochet winter pieces.
Then after that, I spent many (many) hours editing photos and narrowing pictures down to my favorites. I even went so far as to create all new listings because I'm kind of a crazy perfectionist and just felt like things were a mess and wanted a fresh start.
So without further ado, here's a little sneak peak of what my shop is looking like nowadays.
If you guys are interested in seeing more of my shop or if you want to get a better look at any of these listings, go ahead and visit www.darlingbebrave.etsy.com. I'd be tickled pink to make something for you!
These pictures just make my heart sing. It's incredible to look back on where I was a year ago and to see all that I've accomplished and how far I've come. So excited to see what this new season has in store for me!
