If any of you are in need of a quick recipe to help you celebrate Saint Patrick's Day this year, I've got you a real treat. This punch is so simple and so delicious that you'll find other reasons to make it throughout the year, because truth be told, this is a punch I serve at my Halloween party each year, and I was craving it again recently and was like, "This would be perfect for Saint Patty's Day."
You ready for the recipe?
All you'll need is:
Lemon Lime Soda
(I switch between using Sprite and Ginger Ale, both equally delicious)
& Lime Sherbet
If you're making this punch for a party, you'll want 2 liters of lemon lime soda, a quart of lime sherbet, and a 46 oz. can of pineapple juice. In a punch bowl or a large drink dispenser, dump in the lime sherbet and just pour in the soda and juice. Mix it up a bit and enjoy. Easy as that.
For this punch I made today, I filled a blender with a ratio of one half Sprite, one fourth pineapple juice and one fourth sherbet and blended it smooth.
Also, when I say one half, one fourth, and one fourth, I do not mean fill your blender all the way full because when you go to blend it all together, the frothiness of the soda and sherbet will definitely push through the lid and spill all over the blender. Not that I'm talking from experience or anything ha ha ha. I just mean, if you put in two cups worth of sprite, add one cup worth of pineapple juice and one cup worth of sherbet. Or honestly, you can play with the ratios to your own personal taste. You cannot go wrong with this recipe. I promise.
And oh my goodness. It's so good.
Also, if any of you are eyeing those cute little clovers I have around the drink, I have a free crochet pattern available here.
Thanks for reading you guys! Hope you have a magical Saint Patrick's Day!
