Getting dressed is one of the biggest challenges I face daily now that I'm in my third trimester. And I've always been super clingy with my money. And I have an especially hard time parting with it when it comes to buying clothes unless it's something I absolutely love, a crazy good deal (a person can never have too many $5 t-shirts), or something I'll be able to get a lot of use out of. The farther along I get in my pregnancy, the less clothes I have that still fit me, and I'm having a harder time finding clothes worth buying since in just a few months, I'll have my baby and my body will slowly get back to normal (or a new normal).
That being said, I haven't been able to talk myself into buying anything labeled maternity (besides one pair of jeans) unless it's something that I could still wear past my pregnancy. So mainly, I've been buying regular clothes (non-maternity) that are either slightly larger than I'd normally buy, or I've been buying the super stretchy stuff to fit around this ever growing bump of mine.
I figured that if I'm struggling to find clothes that work during pregnancy, some of ya'll might be facing the same problem too, so I thought it'd be fun to start a little series where I share some of my favorite pregnancy friendly clothing finds.
This dress in the pictures shown above has been my absolute favorite. It's so comfortable, super flattering, and the best part is it's less than $15. It's designed for not pregnant ladies, but as you can see it has major stretchability and should fit me clear up until the baby is here. Plus I'm looking forward to wearing this dress past the bump. I'm already super tempted to buy it in the other two colors offered and just live in these rotating dresses until the baby arrives ha ha.
On a side note, I'm currently sitting in a concrete floor room which doesn't sound all that fun except no carpet means that my office is being prepped for new laminate flooring! Yay! I'll be spending the next couple of days helping my husband finish painting (we never touched the closet when this room was painted originally) and prepping this room for new flooring and fingers crossed that by the end of the week my entire house will all have new laminate floors. Just typing that makes me so happy I could cry! This diy renovation process has been absolutely insane and even though it's so worth it, I'm so over it and ready to just be done ha ha five months of chaos and a ripped a part house is too much for this little lady to handle. Especially with me being so pregnant. I'm in hardcore nesting mode so it's driving me insane to not be able to get the house in order for my little one. This should be it though you guys. The last week. *Cue the choir of angels*
Hope all you lovelies are doing well and are having the best week ever!
