Last weekend, we were feeling a little stir crazy and decided to take a little drive out to the desert to get some fresh air and to let our pup run around.
It was a tiny bit chilly so Madison wasn't totally into it ha ha but I'll still treasure these pictures forever.
^^ The one photo we caught of her smiling a little bit. ^^
I used to hate where I live. I remember growing up and itching to live in the mountains, surrounded by greenery and trees because I felt like living in the desert meant that I was constantly surrounded by nothing but dead plants and red dirt. But now that I'm an adult, I see so much beauty. I love it here.
I love how you can see snow on that mountain in the background of the photo above. So anytime I need some greenery in my life, that mountain really isn't that far away. Even though it looks super desert-y, if we hop in the car for about an hour (or less), we are suddenly surrounded by snow and pine trees. And I just think that's the coolest thing.
The love that I have for this baby is unreal. I can't believe how perfect she is, inside and out. She was one hundred percent worth the wait.
This little lady is gonna be such a daddy's girl, I can already tell. Soaking up all her loves while I can until she's too distracted by how cool her dad is.
Love love love this little family of mine. I can't believe how blessed I am to have these guys as my best friends forever.
