Frequently Asked Questions

Can I sell items made from your patterns?

Absolutely you can! Please feel free to sell the pieces you make to family, friends, and/or in your own shops! Just be sure to use your own photos and kindly reference Darling Be Brave as the pattern creator. The pattern you used to create the piece, however, is my own personal copyright and is not to be shared, copied, or distributed.

I have not received my pattern from Etsy yet. Please help!

As soon as your payment has processed, Etsy will send you a download verification email. If you haven't received the email, try checking your spam or junk folder, and if you use gmail, try checking your "Social" and "Promotions" tabs.

Or you can download the files right from your Etsy account. Click on "You" in the top right corner of the page, then click on "Purchases and Reviews" and find your order, click "Download Files" and this will take you to a Downloads page where you can find all the files attached to this pattern.

At the time being, you cannot access the download files through the Etsy app, you must use a computer or mobile browser on your phone/tablet.

Is there anyway I can get a refund? (Example: I thought I was ordering an actual basket, but I accidentally bought one of your patterns.)

I apologize for the confusion, but unfortunately I do not offer refunds for pattern purchases. Due to the nature digital files, they were automatically sent to you the minute you clicked purchase.

However, if you've accidentally purchased the same pattern twice, please let me know, and I'll refund your money for this special circumstance.

And if you're having a problem with my pattern, if you're unsatisfied or find something confusing, please contact me! I want you to be happy with your purchase and will do what I can to remedy the situation.

I can't seem to download your pattern I purchased on Etsy onto my iPad/iPhone. Any suggestions?

For some reason, buyers aren't able to download digital purchases through the Etsy app on a phone or tablet. You need to use either a mobile browser on your phone/tablet or use an actual computer to access files by going to the etsy website. Once you're on Etsy's website and logged into your account, click on "You" in the top right corner of the page, then click on "Purchases and Reviews" and find your order, click "Download Files" and this will take you to a Downloads page where you can find all the files attached to this pattern.

Do you have a tutorial for making a magic circle?

You bet I do! Click on this link and it will take you to my tutorial:

I saw you have an adjustable basket pattern available, and I was wondering if your Mini Basket pattern is included within the pattern?

No. It isn't. My Mini Basket Pattern is available for separate purchase. My Adjustable Basket Pattern was designed with the purpose to give you all the knowledge to be able to create and design your own baskets, including your own version of a Mini Basket. But if you'd like my specifics for the basket that started it all, my signature piece, the Mini Basket, the pattern is available for separate purchase at www.etsy.com/shop/darlingbebrave

I can't figure out how to print my pattern. I'm using a Mac computer. Any ideas?

I feel terrible, but I struggle so bad when it comes to technology so this problem is way over my head. I know from a couple users they were able to access and print the files from her original email etsy sent with the link from her purchase. And they were able to view their patterns using their phone or tablet. I've sold over 1,500 patterns and this problem has only come up three times which is so odd because I've sent my patterns to many Mac users. I wish I knew how to better help, but if trying the above steps doesn't work for you, maybe try to contact etsy's help support by clicking this link: www.etsy.com/help/contact

When I click on the link that Etsy sent me to download my pattern files, this message comes up. "Uh oh! You are trying to view a receipt that does not belong to you." What do I do?

I did a quick google search and saw that others who have had that problem somehow weren't logged in while they were trying to open the link from their email. So maybe double check that you're logged in and/or logged into the correct account that you bought the pattern from while you're trying to click on the download link.

Here's the link to the two etsy help convos where I found this information in case what I'm saying doesn't make sense:

Also, I'm not sure if you're already aware of this, but you can download your patterns straight from your Etsy account. Log into your Etsy account online. Click on "You" in the top right corner of the page, then click on "Purchases and Reviews" and find your order, click "Download Files" and this will take you to a Downloads page where you can find all the files attached to this pattern.

If your question wasn't answered, please feel free to reach me through Etsy messaging or send me an email at megan@darlingbebrave.com. Please be aware though that due to the volume of emails I receive, and a sweet little baby that requires much of my attention, it can take me a little while to be able to respond. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding!
